Hotel Pick-up (from Hanoi)
Tour guide picks you up from the Hanoi Old Quarter, then you depart for Halong City with a short stop on the Expressway and a visit to a Pearl Workshop to learn about the process of creating real pearls.
11:45 – 12:00
Board at Tuan Chau — Pier No. 21
Arriving at Tuan Chau Island and entering the private waiting lounge to board the Halong Sonata Cruise, you begin your enchanting 5.5 to 6-hour journey through the scenic route, renowned for its stunning, uninhabited islets and rock formations. A buffet-style lunch is served on board.
14:00 – 16:30
Surprising Cave, Titov Island & Luon Cave
Explore Bo Hon archipelago to visit the Surprising Cave with its impressive stalagmites and stalactites. Next, visit Titov Island where you can swim on the sandy beach or climb to the peak for a panoramic view. The final stop is Luon Cave, where you can choose to kayak or join a bamboo boat rowing to explore the hidden lagoon.

Sunset Party & Live Music
Return to the ship for a Sunset Party, enjoying a live traditional music performance as the ship cruises back to Tuan Chau Harbor. Plenty of time to chill out with friends on the upper deck for unforgettable moments.

Disembark
Disembark and get on the bus back to Hanoi with a short break along the way.
20:30 – 21:00
Hotel Drop-off
Tour guide bids you farewell at your hotel.

What to bring

You are advised to bring an umbrella, sunglasses, and cash in Vietnam Dong/USD/EUR/AUD to spend on the ship.
From November to February it is winter, so you should pack warm clothes to stay healthy.

• Children under 5 years old: free of charge, sitting with parents.
• Children from 5 to 8 years old: charged 75%, sitting with parents.
• Children from 9 years old: charged 100%.
CANCELLATION POLICY (force majeure): Halong Sonata commits to a simple, efficient refund policy in case of adverse weather, orders of the local authority, or emergencies and natural disasters.
• Cancellation before arriving at Tuan Chau Harbor: free of charge.
• Cancellation at Tuan Chau Harbor (with or without lunch): charged 50% of the trip.
• Cancellation once already aboard in Halong: charged 100% of the trip.
If you book the trip via our authorised travel agents/hotels, refunds are settled there.
